Dennis Kalligas

Since 1994, I've embarked on a dynamic journey in music and television, initially collaborating with Grammy-nominated producer Joe Ferry. Together, we orchestrated recordings featuring acclaimed musicians like Randy Brecker, Rhonda Vincent, and Sue Foley. Transitioning into broadcast news, I honed my skills as a studio and field camera operator, audio mixing engineer, and tape operator at News Channel 12 in Westchester, New York.

Furthering my expertise, I pursued a Master's degree in composition and production while continuing to contribute to diverse music projects as a freelance engineer and musician. In 2007, my teaching career commenced at Ex’pression College, where I instructed courses ranging from foundational to advanced levels. During my tenure, I completed the Avid Pro Tools Certification Instructor Course (ACI), thereafter teaching Pro Tools certification courses and administering exams.

With over two decades of experience as a musician, engineer, and professor, I've collaborated across an extensive spectrum of musical genres—from rock, reggae, and blues to R&B, funk, metal, classical, and jazz. Comfortable with large-scale projects and adept at meeting deadlines, I leverage my equipment, skills, networks, and creativity to ensure project completion.

Presently, I find immense joy and excitement in mixing audio in Atomos and delving into the realms of 360 video production, photography, and panoramic tour creation. Additionally, I'm actively involved in producing 360 TV shows, adding another dimension to my multifaceted career.
